All these days all of us are using an inverter and battery backup system at home to use when there is a power failure. And for our PC we are using UPS also for the same application as above. But when the power goes you use power from your battery through battery/backup system and once this is fully discharged you need to wait till the grid power returns. So you wholly you depend on grid power only for which we need to pay every month. But now using a solar backup system your battery is charged by the solar power (free power fron the Sun) to charge your battery backup. This can be used everyday. You charge the battery during the day and use the power stored in the battery through the inverter to run your appliances when ever you need. Or better you use everday a portion of your load in this solar backup system. For example your PC, Fan, Lights and all other small gadgets with this power supply. Say 3000 watts a day (10 hours) = 3000/10 = 300 watts an hour.
In 300 watts you can use
1 Desktop PC = 150 watts approx. and
one fan, one tube light or 3 CFL lights = 150 watts approx.

(b) A tube light set with electronic ballest will consume around 50 watts
(c) A 28 watts CFL which is equal to a tube light set consumes only 30 watts
