Goddess Mahalakshmi is depicted as seated on a pink lotus with approximately 1000 arms each holding weapons and other miscellaneous objects. She is the consort of Lord Vishnu. She is the sister of goddesses Mahasaraswati and Mahakali. She is revered in not only India but all across the globe as a deity of beauty, power, wealth and abundance. She is worshipped on Diwali and Navaratri. She is known to have killed the demon king Mahishasura, who took several forms as animals but finally succumbed to the overwhelming strength of goddess Mahalakshmi. Goddess Mahalakshmi is always accompanied by elephants throwing water from urns on her as a mark of respect for the goddess who emerged from the churning of the oceans by the gods and demons. The temple in Mumbai, i.e, Mahalakshmi temple, is the best-known temple devoted to her all over India. She is also at many times seen riding an owl who is her main vahana apart from the elephants.

Mahalakshmi is also considered as a giver of wealth for the people. This point is depicted in the picture as - gold coins raining down from one of the right hands of the goddess.

Product Description:

Vedic Fusion - The Hare Rama Hare Krishna Chant

Featuring:
The Hare Rama Hare Krishna Chant

The transcendental vibration established by the chanting of Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare is the sublime method of reviving our Krsna consciousness. As living spiritual souls we are all originally Krsna conscious entities, but due to our association with matter from time immemorial, our consciousness is now polluted by the material atmosphere. The material atmosphere, in which we are now living, is called Maya, or illusion. Maya means "that which is not". And what is this illusion? The illusion is that we are all trying to be lords of material nature, while actually we are under the grip of her stringent laws. When a servant artificially tries to imitate the all-powerful master, this is called illusion. In this polluted concept of life, we are all trying to exploit the resources of material nature, but actually we are becoming more and more entangled in her complexities. Therefore, although we are engaged in a hard struggle to conquer nature, we are ever more dependent on her. This illusory struggle against material nature can be stopped at once by the revival of our Krsna consciousness. Krsna consciousness is not an artificial imposition of the mind; this consciousness is the original energy of the living entity. When we hear the transcendental vibration, this consciousness is revived. And this is the process recommended for this age by authorities. By practical experience also one can perceive that by chanting this maha-mantra or the Great Chanting for Deliverance, one can at once feel a transcendental ecstasy coming through from the spiritual stratum. And when one is factually on the plane of spiritual understanding-surpassing the stages of the senses, mind and intelligence-one is situated on the transcendental plane. - His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

Product Description:

Vedic Fusion - Buddha

Featuring:
The Buddha Gayathri Manthra
Epilouge: Buddham Saranam Gachami

Gautama Buddha was a spiritual teacher in the ancient Indian subcontinent and the historical founder of Buddhism. He is universally recognised by Buddhists as the Supreme Buddha of our age. The time of his birth and death are unclear, but most modern scholars have him living between approximately 563 BCE and 483 BCE.[1] By tradition, he was born with the name Siddhartha Gautama and, after a quest for the truth behind life and death, underwent a transformative spiritual change that led him to claim the name of Buddha. He is also commonly known as kyamuni, "sage of the kya clan" and as the Tath gate ("thus-come-one" or "thus-gone-one").

Gautama is the key figure in Buddhism, and accounts of his life, discourses and monastic rules were summarized after his death and memorized by the sa gha. Passed down by oral tradition, the Tripi aka, the collection of discourses attributed to Gautama, was committed to writing about 400 years later.

AUM In Trance

Featuring:
The Chanting of AUM In Trance

The most sacred symbol in Hindu dharma. Aum (OM) is the sound of the infinite. Aum is said to be the essence of all manthras, the highest of all manthras or divine word (shabda), Brahman (ultimate reality) itself. Aum is said to be the essence of the Vedas. By sound and form, AUM symbolized the infinite Brahman (ultimate reality) and the entire universe. A stands for Creation, U stands for Preservation, M stands for Destruction or dissolution. This is representative of the Trinity of God in Hindu dharma (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva). The three portions of AUM relate to the states of waking, dream and deep sleep and the three gunas (rajas, satva, tamas). The three letters also indicates three planes of existence, heaven (swarga), earth (martya) and netherworld (patala). All the words produced by the human vocal organ can be represented by AUM. A is produced by the throat, U & M by the lips. In the Vedas, AUM is the sound of the Sum, the sound of Light. It is the sound of assent (affirmation) and ascent (it has an upwards movement and uplifts the soul, as the sound of the divine eagle or falcon.

Product Description:

Vedic Fusion - The Kubera Gayatri

Kubera (also Kuvera or Kuber) is the god of wealth and the lord of Uttaradisha in Hindu mythology. He is also known as Dhanapati, the lord of riches. He is one of the Guardians of the directions, representing the north. Kubera is also the son of Sage Vishrava (Vaisravana), and in this respect, he is also the elder brother of the Lord of Lanka, Ravana. He is said to have performed austerities for a thousand years, in reward for which Brahma, the Creator, gave him immortality and made him god of wealth, guardian of all the treasures of the earth, which he was to give out to whom they were destined. When Brahma appointed him God of Riches, he gave him Lanka (Ceylon) as his capital, and presented him, according to the Mahabharata, with the vehicle pushpaka, which was of immense size and 'moved at the owner's will at marvelous speed'. When Ravana captured Lanka, Kubera moved to his city of Alaka, in the Himalaya. Kubera also credited money to Venkateshwara or Vishnu for his marriage with Padmavati. That's the reason devotees/people when they go to Tirupati donate money in Venkateshwara's Hundi so that he can pay back to Kubera. According to the Vishnupuran this process will go on till the end of Kali yuga.

Product Description:

Vedic Fusion - The Narayana Gayatri

Narayana or Narayan is an important Sanskrit name for Vishnu and is in many contemporary vernaculars, a common Indian name. The name is also associated with Brahma and Krishna. He is also identified with, or as the son of, the original man, Purusha.

Bust at its core, Nara-Narayana is further broken down where Nara means human and Narayana means the Supreme Divinity, or Vishnu. In the concept of Nara-Narayana, the human soul Nara is the eternal companion of the Divine Narayana. Any human being with awakened consciousness of divinity in him and who works overall for the welfare of humanity is a Nara-Narayana, an incarnation of Vishnu on earth working for the preservation of dharma or righteousness. Furthermore, the name Narayana is a Sanskrit tatpurusha compound, with the members nara, which means "human, man", and ayana "eternal, without ending (a-yana)". Tradition associates the nara element with another meaning of "water", explaining the name as indicating the all-pervasive nature of Narayana as that of an infinite ocean in which the never-ending movement of birth, life and death of the cosmos occurs. Narayana according to this etymology is the one who moves in the infinite waters and is also the water itself. This close association of Narayana with water explains the frequent depiction of Narayana in Hindu Art as standing or sitting on an ocean. Another interpretation of Narayan is that "Ayana" also means direction / goal and as previously mentioned "Nara" means human. Hence Narayana refers to the direction of a human (or the one that helps a human to his/her goal) - that towards moksha. Specially so, because moksha is represented by the water element (one of the five elements - pancha bhootam/Tattva) and as previously mentioned Nara refers to the "Water" element.
